The Free Edition of Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT arrives West in March!

Late last year a free-to-play version of Dissida: Final Fantasy NT arrived on PS4 in Japan. Now Square-Enix has released information showing that now the free version will be arriving in the West on March 12th.

As well as this, Square-Enix also announced that the game will be launching on PC via Steam on the same day with the Free Edition, which will allow you to purchase the Standard edition (the base game) and Deluxe Edition (base game + season pass) through it. This will mark the first time Dissidia series has arrived on PC.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition offers players the opportunity to try out a limited roster of characters on a weekly basis. A variety of characters and weapons are also available for individual purchase. This ensures that favourite characters can be a permanent member of a player’s roster. Players of the free edition can also play online against existing players of the full game.

Developed in partnership with veteran fighting game studio Team Ninja from Koei Tecmo Games, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a unique three-versus-three team-based brawler, where players work together to overcome their rivals and dominate the battlefield. Featuring legendary characters from throughout the Final Fantasy NT series, powerful summons, online and offline play modes, character skins, and a new original story, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT welcomes players of all types to enter the arena. With Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition, players can enjoy a sample of the full game and discover the epic multiplayer encounters only available in its unique online arena.

KOEI Tecmo celebrates Monster Rancher anniversary with opening new Twitter Account!

Yesterday KOEI Tecmo Japan had opened up a brand new Twitter account for their Monster Rancher / Monster Farm series of titles, in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the release of Monster Rancher 2. This is rather interesting news as the series hasn’t been touched since back in 2011 with the mobile title My Monster Rancher.

For the many Europeans who probably know very little of this series – as the series only had a couple of it’s titles make it there – or if you just want a recap. Monster Rancher is a raising simulation game where you spend your time maintaining a farm and raising monsters.

What could this mean however? It may well mean that the series is due for a revival, especially when one of their tweets iterates “Please give us your future support”. We will be sure to keep you all posted if any fresh news on any titles come to light.

Snow Villiers is now available for Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT!

During last month’s anniversary event for Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT it was announced that the final DLC character for the Season Pass was Snow Villiers, and he would be coming out in February. Now he is available to purchase separately or get him free with the Season Pass.

Along with Snow, he comes with an assortment of items that you can equip him with which you can see below:

–Patron of Yusnaan I (Appearance)
–Patron of Yusnaan II (Appearance)
–Patron of Yusnaan III (Appearance)
–Crystal Guard (Weapon)
–Ghastly Guard (Weapon)
–Sacrificial Guard (Weapon)
–Special Chat Messages

More post-release content is planned for the game, so stay tuned for more information on that. What we know so far for definite is a new character is planned to be revealed at the end of March.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is out exclusively for Playstation 4.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet get’s a new trailer this time showcasing Helena and Kokoro!

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet is now getting closer to it’s release, with less than a month to go. We now have a new trailer showcasing two more lovely ladies who are on vacation at New Zack Island! Helena and Kokoro are having a great time at the beach in this new trailer.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet is coming out March 20th for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan. The Asian version of the game will have English support so feel free to import it on your console of choice – though keep in mind the PS4 version will be censored, and the Nintendo Switch will be getting a free-to-play version later on in the year.

The first Season Pass for Dead or Alive 6 has been detailed, including new fighters!

With the release of Dead or Alive 6 inching closer day by day, we now have quite a full detail of post-game support for the game. To the surprise of nobody, Dead or Alive 6 will be receiving at least one season pass, and this is what you can expect to receive with it:

A collaboration with SNK’s The King of Fighters XIV has been confirmed. Mai Shiranui joins the battle this June as a guest character alongside another King of Fighters combatant who has yet to be announced. The fighters will be sold separately, but will also be included in Season Pass 1. Dead or Alive 6’s initial Season Pass will be available for purchase on March 1 and will also include 62 new costumes: “Dead or Alive 6 Happy Wedding Costumes Vol. 1″ and “2,” “Dead or Alive 6 New Costumes Set Vol. 1″ and “2,” and additional character costumes for the two SNK fighters. Season Pass bonuses will also feature new NiCO and Nyotengu costumes. All Season Pass 1 content will be made available between March and June 2019.

So it looks like we are getting another collaboration with SNK’s The King of Fighters series, though the second character has yet to be revealed. Alongside them there are a ton of new costumes to pimp your characters out in.

The Season Pass will be available from March 1st and the content will release between March and June 2019.
