In some random news (thanks to our buddy BlackKite), KOEI Tecmo has formed a collaborative partnership with 2019 Suzuka 8 Endurance Race, with Dynasty Warriors 9 characters featuring as sponsors for Motorcycle manufacturers that are part of it all.
Along with the partnership and characters sponsoring, the manufacturers Motorcycles will also be sporting Dynasty Warriors 9 themed liveries. They have already featured in quite a few PR events around Japan for the upcoming Endurance Race.
Below you can see the four guys representing their brands:
You can find more information and images of their collaborative efforts on their Event site here! There is currently no news if these collaborative outfits will make their way to the Dynasty Warriors 9 game itself. So we just have one question left to ask, which manufacturer do you support?
What are your thoughts on seeing KOEI Tecmo branch their series out to real world events? Would you like to see some Motorcycle mounts in Dynasty Warriors 9? Let us know in the comments!

With the upcoming release of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists, in case you forgot another Atelier title is arriving in a few months time. Atelier Lulua ~The Scion of Arland~, and KOEI Tecmo have now gone into further detail towards their extensive Synthesis system.
Set a fair while after the last title in the Arland series, you play as Lulua Frixell, the daughter of Rorona (the titular character of the first Arland title). On your adventure you’ll be discovering both new and old landscapes, and see how time has changed the world of Arland, for best or worse. Within the numerous environments you’ll get to explore, you’ll find many Materials you can pick up and use for your future Synthesising.
You can read the full explanation below:
Following the adventures of the young Lulua Frixell, players set out to uncover the mysteries of an ancient codex and the land of Arland itself! Along Lulua’s journey she’ll discover beautiful lands– some new and un-explored –whilst others have been affected by the tides of time since Rorona, Totori, and Meruru once travelled across Arland. Throughout these diverse environments, players will find a bounty of raw materials, and as they fully explore each area they will not only unlock new places to explore, but they’ll have a higher chance of finding rarer resources to help Lulua in her quest to learn the ultimate truth about the mysterious kingdom of Arland.
These rare materials are used as part of the game’s Synthesis system, a fundamental part of the Atelier series which allows alchemists to create new items. In Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland players will decrypt the codex to unlock a variety of new and exciting recipes which will in turn, help them throughout their adventure. The Synthesis system in this latest entry combines the Arland trilogy’s ‘quality’ and ‘trait’ systems, allowing for items to take on entirely new characteristics, along with the Mysterious trilogy’s ‘elements’ and ‘boost item’, giving items powerful abilities that wouldn’t be previously possible. These fresh-yet-familiar systems synthesise together with the new ‘Awakened Effects’ mechanic to offer a bounty of possibilities to aspiring alchemists.
When at the cauldron, players can use a raw material with the ‘Awakened Effects’ ability in the mix to give the resulting item a secondary element –combine a Fire Damage Awakened Effect material with a Thunder Bomb –, and the resulting item will be a bomb which releases both thunder and fire for a devastating blow! As players learn all of the Synthesis system’s intricacies, they’ll be able to create a variety of unique and useful items to use throughout the lands of Arland and in battle.
Alongside this news, a new set of gameplay trailers have also been provided to showcase the Synthesis gameplay for you to observe yourself. You can view these below:
It wasn’t too long ago that KOEI Tecmo announced a nifty Limited Edition for Atelier Lulua, which you can pre-order now over at NIS Europe / NIS America Online Store.
Atelier Lulua ~The Scion of Arland~ will be releasing May 21st in the US and May 24th in EU for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Last week KOEI Tecmo have launched the free-to-play version of Dead or Alive 6. Known as Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters, much like the 5th version’s iteration, you’ll be able to access a bunch of the game’s modes along with a base roster of playable characters. With this as well you will be able to purchase individually exactly what you want from the fighting game, such as fighters and other modes.
You can read the official information on the game below:
Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters offers fighting game fans a limited look into the world of Dead or Alive 6, including four base characters—Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass—as well as online ranked battles, Versus, Arcade, Time Attack, Training, and Quest modes. In addition, Dead or Alive 6’s introduction to Story mode will be unlocked, along with DOA Central, the hub for everything from wardrobe and music to the library and theater.
More content is planned to release for the game on all platforms, as well as free updates such as upcoming Lobbies for online play. Our review is still in the works (sorry for the delay, but due to the site upgrade and forum development things have slowed to a crawl), but will be available for your viewing pleasure soon.
This is a great way if you are undecided to give the game a solid good go, and the characters available are quite a fun bunch to master. Let’s end this post with a nice launch trailer showcasing the Core Fighters’ experience.
Dead or Alive 6 is out now on Playstation 4, XBOX One and PC via Steam. The free-to-play Core Fighters is also available now on the same platforms.
What are your thoughts on Dead or Alive 6 getting a free-to-play edition so soon after release? Are you happy to give it a try? Let us know in those comments!
Earlier this week Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT finally made it’s way to the Steam storefront, being it’s first time appearing on PC. Along with this release, there was also a Free-to-Play edition launched on the PS4 and Steam. Though the Free-to-Play edition is the only way you can start off with your Steam purchase, you can then purchase two version upgrades through it.
The first is the Standard Edition upgrade, which pretty much gives you full access to the base game, with none of the Season Pass content. While if you pay a little more you can get the Deluxe Edition upgrade, which gives you the base game and all the first Season Pass content. If you decide to stick with the Free-to-Play edition, you’ll have access to most of the basic fighting game modes, along with a rotation of four characters every month.
You can read the full description of the game straight from the Steam storefront here:
With the struggle between order and chaos quelled by saviours from beyond, the realm was destined to fade from existence. Instead, an arcane power has breathed new life into it—bestowing these decaying remains with purpose once more. The fight has begun anew, and the world is your arena.
Over twenty-four of FINAL FANTASY’s most recognisable faces have assembled to take part in interdimensional fisticuffs. Face off against other teams in action-packed, three-on-three melees that require sense as well as strength to win. Each combatant can be one of four types: vanguard, assassin, marksman, or specialist; play off your allies’ fighting styles, master the bravery system, and emerge triumphant from the clash of steel and sorcery!
In addition to standard battles, there will be skirmishes that employ special rulesets, along with cutscenes that tell the story of this reborn world, the gods that rule it, and the warriors who fight for it.
If you have yet to dive into the title, now is the best opportunity, as you can enjoy a lot of it for free on either PS4 or Steam, and if you enjoy it enough you can put in some extra money to get the full experience.
Have you tried the free-to-play version out yet? Have you given the Steam version a go? Let us know in those comments!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be some changes happening to the website. This will take time and we hope you will bear with us. Thank you all for your support!
