Atelier Arland Trilogy DX is out now digitally on Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. You can buy Atelier Rorona, Atelier Totori or Atelier Meruru individually or all together in one bundled price. The games are their “Plus” variations, which includes every piece of DLC released for each of the games.

The deluxe pack includes all three beloved GUST titles featured in the Arland trilogy: Atelier Rorona: The Alchemists of Arland DX, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland DX, and Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland DX. The pack includes most of the previously released DLC content and gives players the opportunity to choose between purchasing these titles individually or as a package containing all three at a discounted price.

The Arland series, which launched in 2009 with the debut of Atelier Rorona: The Alchemists of Arland – the 11th game in the Atelier role-playing franchise – and quickly became a cult classic across the world; spawning sequels featuring new Arland characters, including Totori and Meruru. The fourth game in the series, Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland, is scheduled for a Spring 2019 release.

This is the perfect chance to get fully caught up to date on the story so far in time for the release of the fourth entry coming Spring of next year.

Samurai Warriors 4 DX Edition to come to PS4 and Switch next year in Japan!

Samurai Warriors 4 DX has been announced to arrive in Japan on March 14th 2019 for both Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. This will be the first time the game will be hitting the Switch, while for PS4 owners you’ll have the added benefit of having over 150 pieces of DLC included.

The DLC included will be all the costumes, background music packs, weapon skins and new scenarios. Both platforms will now have the full complete package in one price. As well in Japan, the game will be getting the usual “Treasure Box” treatment, that’ll come with a juicy 64 page artbook, full soundtrack CDs and a 144 postcard set.

No word if this will be releasing in the West, and we can’t really know for sure if it will as Dynasty Warriors 8 Definitive Edition is making it’s way west on Switch, but the past Samurai Warriors title (Spirit of Sanada) has yet to be localised on the Switch. Perhaps with it coming to PS4 also it will boost it’s chances but we’ll have to wait and see.

Quick note, this is unrelated to the promised announcement coming on 6th December.

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists gets a March 2019 release date!

As is quite predictable these days, the latest entry to the Atelier series Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists has secured a March 2019 release date. Specifically March 26th for Americas and March 29th for Europe. Along with this release date announcement, you’ll be able to get the game in physical form, digital, or even in a Limited Edition set for the console versions.

Today, KOEI TECMO Europe revealed the highly-anticipated release date for Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World, alongside a variety of exciting gameplay features. The latest entry in the Atelier series is slated for physical and digital release on the 29th March 2019 for the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System, Nintendo Switch™, and digital-only on Windows PC via Steam®.

In Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World players assume the role of young noblewoman, Nelke von Lestamm; tasked with building up the quaint village of Westwald into a prosperous city. For her to develop buildings and extend the size of Westwald, she will need to earn money from the businesses she runs or sell synthesised items for cash.

Exploring the areas outside of Westwald with alchemists allows Nelke to collect raw materials perfect for synthesis. Though she is inexperienced in the art of alchemy, she’ll have to entrust one of the many alchemists in town to synthesise the resources into sellable goods. Each alchemist has their own specialties which allow them to offer improved item creation – players will have to carefully decide what would be the most effective alchemist for which items.

A Weekly Report is prepared at the end of each week which shows the current town population, the amount of income made, number of properties, and the number of synthesised items. Using this report, players can decide how they will spend their time in Westwald, perhaps they will tackle quests and town development during the weekday and develop relationships with residents on the weekend. As Nelke spends time with people in Westwald she’ll deepen her bonds with them leading to not only exciting events between characters, but new town facilities and alchemist skills which aid in both synthesis and battle!

Fans of the Atelier series will be able to get their hands on a delightful Collector’s Edition of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World, exclusively available through the NISA Europe Online Store. This must-have version of the game contains a hardcover art book, the game’s official soundtrack, a deluxe cloth poster, and an acrylic standee featuring the main character Nelke, all packaged into a beautiful collector’s box featuring artwork of the famous alchemists which appear in the game.

The game is looking to be a great spin-off with some interesting Town-building mechanics to spice things up. The game will be releasing in March 2019 for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. We also want to mention that some places have been miss-reporting the game is coming to XBOX One, but this is not the case, so please keep that in mind.

New Romance of the Three Kingdoms is out now on Apple and Google Play stores!

We announced earlier in the month that New Romance of the Three Kingdoms is making it’s way to both iOS and Android platforms during November 2018. Today it is now out for all to download and play for free! The game is a MMO-enhanced version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI, allowing you to pick several famed characters from the Three Kingdoms era and start your kingdom!

Sony’s censorship policies hits Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet’s PS4 edition

It’s only been a couple days since the announcement for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet, and we already have ourselves a controversy along with Sony’s new Censorship policies. Though rather ridiculous, certain items (that are still present in the original version on PS4) have been removed only from the PS4 edition of the title – the Nintendo Switch edition isn’t effected.

Three items specifically have been mentioned to of been censored:
Jet Black Fan – An item used to “blow” away certain clothes to show undergarments.
Gold Fan – A golden version of above.
Softening Gel – An item used to increase the jiggle physics velocity, enabling more easy loss of bra straps and such.

Though it may not seem like a big deal, but that is just it – is it that big of a deal that the game has to even remove these? How are we in today’s society so scared of some skin being shown but heavy violence is a-okay? Though that’s a rant for another time.

There has been no official word from Sony themselves on all these recent censorship issues hitting numerous “fan service” based games. There is also no real confirmation if any other items may be removed from the PS4 edition, though this is likely to be the only removals.
