We have gained a couple of additions to our website! What is first of many to come, we have fully updated the Musou Stars page to it’s western release, so now it is Warriors All-Stars! It can be found in the KOEI menu under “Other KOEI Games”.
Also we have added a completely new page, Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada. It can be found in the KOEI menu under “Samurai Warriors”. Over the coming days we will be padding out both these areas with information, goodies and what-not. But for now you can find the basic information such as release dates, platforms they are coming to, publisher/developer and if it allows multiplayer.
We hope to have more of this to come alongside reporting on news and even more “new” things from us for the site and fans!

As most of you would already no doubt know, Nintendo held a massive event revealing many new details and an abundant amount of games for their upcoming Nintendo Switch console. Along with this were an assortment of titles coming from KOEI Tecmo. And today we can share information about them all.
First up is Fire Emblem Warriors, developed in the same way as Hyrule Warriors, this time the slashings will be within the vast universe of Fire Emblem. Not much is known about the game so far, and only a small Teaser was shown (see below), but what information we do have is that there will be a Nintendo Direct dedicated to Fire Emblem on 18th January, which includes this title (among others, possibly the mobile title). We will have much more to show and share then, and finally have some juicy details to get our hands on.
Expected arrival Holiday 2017.
Next up is a bundle from Square-Enix and KOEI Tecmo, the Dragon Quest Heroes series! Though not just the first, the second will also be included along with a completely revamped and improved battle system and features exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version. It is still up in arms if this title will make it’s way to the West, considering we have only seen the first title on PS4, and how notorious Square-Enix is with withholding Dragon Quest titles. But it will be an amazingly fun game none the less, and with the Nintendo Switch abolishing region locking, you can just import it in the end anyway! See below for new gameplay and trailer for the upcoming bundled title!
The title will launch alongside the Nintendo Switch March 3rd in Japan.
Lastly, KOEI Tecmo showed off both Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence – Ascension and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII are ports coming to the Nintendo Switch. No doubt there will be touch interactivity added considering how the Nintendo Switch is used and designed, which should hopefully make for an interesting way to play these Strategy behemoths. We will share more information soon on release dates and such as they come.
That’s it for now! What do you think of the revealed titles coming from KOEI Tecmo? Which one do you want to get your hands on? Let us know! And as always, expect to see full sections for these games on our website soon!
This week’s Famitsu had new Information on Koei Tecmo’s upcoming Cross-Over game, “Musou Stars”.
The Information include a new character reveal, the multiple endings and the character bonding system.
Darius joines Arima from Harukanaru Toki no Naka de.
Musou Stars has 20 endings available, good and bad ones, which is really a lot. Story banches and endings depend on how many officers you recruited and items obtained while playing.
As for the character bondings system. All unique officers will feature unique quotes for the other characters, which will changed as the relationship grows closer.
To give you some examples on how the quotes change on relationship:
While relationship is Acquaintance: “Such elegant battle style. May I take on the rest?”
Friendly relationship between Darius and Sophie: “You have done well. Good girl, Sophie”
Relationship status beloved between Darius and Sophie: “You’ve become stronger, Sophie. I’ll give a present once we’re back”
