Atlus is launching a Persona 5 Scramble demo next week in Japan!

Persona 5 Scramble has been a bit of a mystery, mostly due to the utter silence on any kind of western localisation. Though in Japan a lot of news has been pushed out these past few weeks, we now have something interesting to dig our hands into.

With the game in Japan reaching close to it’s February 20th launch date, we now have news that a demo of the game will be launching on the Playstation Store and Nintendo eShop on February 6th in the region. This of course is easily accessible to every user by logging into a Japanese store account and downloading it via that login.

As well as news of a demo we also will be treated to a launch live stream from Atlus sometime just before it’s release date, though more exact details will come at a later date.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be launching for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 20th in Japan. No news on a western localisation, though this is par the course for Atlus titles. We hope to hear more on that a few months down the line.

Ni-Oh 2’s post-launch DLC get’s more details!

As you should be well aware, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Ni-Oh is releasing this March. To the eagle eyed viewer you would of also noticed a Digital Deluxe edition that incorporates a Season Pass for DLC content. Much like how the first game dealt with it, Ni-Oh 2 will have three main chapters. Not much is known other than that each Chapter will pre-date the 1555 starting date of the main game.

We have three major downloadable content releases planned, with each focusing on a different storyline that pre-dates the events of Nioh 2, promising hours of additional gameplay that will provide plenty of challenge for those thirsting for more.

Similar to the original Nioh, players can expect new weapons, new combat abilities and new characters, with each downloadable content incorporating both multiple main and sub-missions.

The three downloadable content packs are included in Nioh 2’s Season Pass, which forms part of the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition (now available for pre-order). In addition to the main game and downloadable content, you’ll also get premium in-game items such as the Demon Horde armor set and Kodama Netsuke Charm.

So at least along with the new chapters you’ll be given a bevy of new weapons, characters and locations to explore and enjoy.

Ni-Oh 2 launches exclusively for Playstation 4 on March 13th worldwide!

Atelier Dusk Trilogy is out now worldwide!

It’s a new year, and only 14 days in to the decade we have KOEI Tecmo’s first game release, well three game releases! Atelier Dusk Trilogy, which includes Atelier Ayehsa, Atelier Escha & Logy as well as Atelier Shallie in their DX forms is out now!

You can pick up the games for a bundled price together or purchase them separately depending if you just wanted to relive a specific adventure. The games have launched on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch, Steam for PC and the Playstation Store for PS4.

The trilogy offers all the content the “Plus” versions from the Vita releases got, along with all DLC released. Enjoy this wonderful Dusk trilogy once again on modern hardware!

We will try and get more coverage of how these games fair in their “DX” forms soon.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3’s next expansion ‘Rise of the Phoenix’ arrives later this month!

It was The Game Awards last week, and with it you get the bevy of annual “World Premiere” announcements. Right off the bat of the awards, Nintendo and KOEI Tecmo dropped a trailer for the second expansion pack for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, called “Rise of the Phoenix”.

The expansion pack features new playable characters from the X-Men franchise such as the titular character Phoenix herself, and cult favourite Gambit. You can check the trailer out below:

Rise of the Phoenix expansion pack will launch December 23rd worldwide for all those who have bought the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 expansion pass. Below you can check out the brief description of the DLC:

Dark Phoenix, the infinitely powerful cosmic entity from one of the X-Men’s greatest sagas, unleashes an era of fiery destruction! Four more X-Men join the alliance with this downloadable content pack: Phoenix, Gambit, Iceman, and Cable. Plus, face-off against friends in the newly added Danger Room mode! Up to four players will compete to see who can take down enemies while being barraged by buffs and debuffs.

With new modes and characters, arriving just in time for Christmas! Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is out now exclusively for Nintendo Switch!
