Coming from the mind of Kou Shibusawa Productions, the highly anticipated (in Japan at least) racing series returns in full form. Since the announcement more information has come out about the title along with a teaser trailer showing some ingame footage.
You can check out some highlights pointed out below:
–Racing scenes have dramatically evolved.
–The bonding element between jockey and horse has turned into commands.
–“World Suitability” is a new element that displays breed suitability in Japan, America, and Europe.
–In Rival Showdowns where enemies are also backed by strategies, the racehorses’ fighting spirits will fluctuate depending on the outcome.
–“Rival Showdowns” are showdowns such as Mejiro McQueen vs. Tokai Teio that show the scenes and rival trends of the battle, and include new elements like fighting spirit.
–Rivals are not limited to horses. Unique characters will also appear.
–Horse owners, animal trainers, and jockeys will all appear as part of the rival camp. Use bond commands to secure your victory.
The official website has also been updated with news issues adding further details on what the game will offer and how it will play. For those non Japanese reading folk, Google Translate does a decent job in having you covered. You can find the four (as of time of writing) issues here!
The game though unlikely to make it’s way to the West, will be releasing March 2019 for PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The former two you’ll be able to import the game for due to region free, while Steam naturally being a digital storefront will be easy to access from. It is unknown if any form of English support will be featured however.
