Today is the day people! At 2PM BST, the Nintendo eShop will update with the free patch update and the first DLC; Master Quest Pack for you all to download and enjoy! The patch itself will enable you to play as Cia, Wizzro and Volga, along with some bug fixes and improved game stability. While the Master Quest Pack DLC, that adds a whole lot of new content.
The pack itself costs €6.99 / £6.29 / $7.99 on it’s own, or €14.99 / £13.50 / $19.99 as part of the 4 Pack set. The DLC itself contains the following content straight from Nintendo’s mouth:
- Five new Legend Mode scenarios
- A new Adventure Mode map (Master Quest) with seven new 8-bit weapons and sixteen new alternatively-coloured costumes as rewards
- A new weapon type for Link (Epona)
- Two new costumes (Guardian of Time for Lana and Cia)

KOEI Tecmo Warriors 
Just got the whole package tonight, I was worried that we were gonna get nickled and dimed like other games have done, but damn, leave it to both Nintendo and Tecmo-Koei to create a game that feels very complete, and add even more to it. Can’t wait for all of these to release.
Nintendo have a very good way at looking at DLC right now. Such as how they are doing the Mario Kart 8 DLC, it seems they are actually willing to put a decent price on quality content.
I’m glad we aren’t getting the costume sets at a high price spam. Something KOEI-Tecmo needs to work on not doing with their other titles.
