NEWS: Hyrule Warriors Master Quest Pack DLC Details

A lot of new information has surfaced in regards to the first of four packs of DLC coming to Hyrule Warriors. The first set; Master Quest Pack will be releasing on 16th October in both Europe and America.

One of the first big confirmations is that finally Epona will be coming to the battlefield (outside it’s cameo as Link’s victory pose), where it will be used as a Weapon type for Link causing mayhem on the battlefields across Hyrule.

There is a new scenario, which is comprised of 5 battles focused on Cia’s dominance over Hyrule. She (along with Volga and Wizzro) will be releasing as playable characters in a free patch the same day as this DLC arrives.

As for even more content, there will be a new Adventure Mode map, where you can also enable “Master Quest Rules” which take away all the Hearts you can obtain within the mode for increased rewards, to give you that extra challenge and satisfaction. Also there are two new “Guardian of Time” outfits for both Cia and Lana to enjoy!

NEWS: Fatal Frame V: Oracle of the Sodden Raven – Bonus Ayane Episode Revealed

With the release of Fatal Frame V: Oracle of the Sodden Raven over the weekend in Japan, more information of the game has been revealed. There is a “Bonus Episode” that is to feature a crossover between Dead or Alive and Fatal Frame with the star studded lady Ninja Ayane taking the lead.

Here is the Story description:

Ayane is requested to find Tsumugi Katashina, who disappeared at the mountain. She (Ayane) uses her “purple thread” power to track down Tsugumi.

Since Ayane can’t defeat any ghosts, she needs to hide and sneak around to progress. She has a “script of hiding” that she can apply to her back to make herself invisible to ghosts. If she’s caught by a ghost, she can use the light of the Spirit Stone Torch to knock back and temporarily stun them.

After sneaking into an abandoned building, she is gravely wounded, but manages to flee.

It certainly feels out of place to see a titular character such as Ayane enter a more down to earth atmosphere filled with psychological horrors, but maybe it fits better then we think? The screenshots certainly suggest it is possible – but you be the judge!

Last week Europe was enjoying the beauty that is Hyrule Warriors on their Wii U’s. From the lavish graphics to the incredible gameplay – this was one game that every Wii U owner had to get.

Now a week onward, America is finally getting their chance to dig into the war of Hyrule! Pick up your swords and fight Wii U owners!

If you haven’t got the game already, well why the hell not? Go out and get it. Don’t have a Wii U? No problem, get that with it too. No excuse, go go.

NEWS: Nobunaga’s Ambition (SNES) comes to Wii U eShop today!

At the start of the month Nobunaga’s Ambition (SNES) came to the American Wii U eShop for $7.99. Now along with other such debut’s like Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV and Uncharted Waters – for the very first time Nobunaga’s Ambition makes it’s way to Europe.

The game is out now on the eShop for a delicious price of €7.99 / £5.49! So all fans of strategy be sure to pick up this great title!

This along with Hyrule Warriors makes for a very good KOEI-Tecmo month for Wii U owners!
