It’s the big day, and KOEI Tecmo Japan have finally announced their game plans for the Dynasty Warriors 20th Anniversary. The first title announced was a celebration mobile game known just as Dynasty Warriors. It will have Dynasty Warriors 9 assets, it’s own battle system, stage and gameplay system along with usual mobile gaming monetisation. We will have a full article up on that title soon.
The big news however, is that Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires has been announced, and will be launching Early 2021. It will be arriving on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and PC via Steam. No Western news as of yet, but that will follow very soon.
Major information of the title is the open world has gone away. The Create a Warrior system has been confirmed to return, along with officer mode, ruler mode and more ways to play. Castle Sieges will also play a heavy role in the game.
