Ni-Oh’s final DLC chapter; Bloodshed’s End is now out for everyone to pick up and enjoy. We have personally really loved this finale to the DLC saga (though DLC #2 was a bit of a hit and miss on story), and we hope you fellow Ni-Oh fans out there are enjoying it as well!
The DLC releases with a bunch of new Main Missions, tons of cut-scenes and story exposition, and sub-missions to grit your teeth into. For those of you who LOVE that post-game grind, there is an entire new difficulty, Way of the Ni-Oh, that pits you against even tougher enemies and skilled AI. When you unlock Way of the Ni-Oh, your level cap will increase to 750! as well as your stats limit increasing to 200 (instead of the standard 99)! So you can really feel the power of a Samurai!
With those additions, you can the increased soul match levelling, new gear to acquire and new skills for your weapons, ninjutsu and Omnyo. This really is a big and deserving ending of content for the game.
If you have yet to pick up this DLC, you can get it for £7.99/€9.99/$9.99 or free with the season pass.
If you have yet to even pick up this gem of a PS4 exclusive, then there could be some great news for you. In Japan they have announced a Ni-Oh Complete Edition coming out, releasing with all DLC both digitally (earlier) and Physically. The physical edition that will be releasing a little later will come with exclusive gear and a mini soundtrack of the game. There has yet to be any news if we in the West will get this version (very likely we will), but stay tuned to find out for sure soon!
