We are now venturing to the end of 2014, and KOEI-Tecmo’s line-up of games have been pretty impressive, including the likes of Hyrule Warriors, Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and Samurai Warriors 4! But what does KOEI-Tecmo have in store for us in the west now that 2015 is on it’s way? We have piled everything together along with a little something more for you all to enjoy! So let’s get started!

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round – PS3, PS4, XBOX360, XBOX One
Spring 2015
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is the last re-release of the tremendously successful Dead or Alive 5 game. Boasting upgraded textures and improved graphical fidelity for the current generation of consoles, as well as including all previous Arcade addition DLC characters, it’ll be the Ultimate’s ultimate version of the game to get. Especially if you are craving some fighting action on your newest consoles!

Bladestorm: Nightmare – PS3, PS4, XBOX One
Q1 2015
Bladestorm: Nightmare (working title) is a remaster of the original game that came out back in 2007 along with several new additions and story arcs. Think Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate if you will, but with the Bladestorm game. You will be able to relive the tale of the Hundred Years’ War between England and France with improved graphics, better physics and much improved game mechanics that allow you to control more then one unit at once on the field of battle. However what is also new to this version of the game is the “Nightmare” side, where you will be thrown into a fictional mythical tale where you rise up against mythical beasts such as Dragon’s and more!
Expect to see this title rolling out worldwide in the first quarter of 2015! (January-March)

Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires – PS3, PS4, XBOX One
Q1 2015
Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires is the next in the long line of Dynasty Warriors expansions, with this taking on more of a strategical route over story driven battles. The game boasts to have a much more in-depth customisation on how you can create and run your kingdom, including being able to customise the details of your soldiers, war banners and much more! You will also have a far larger array of strategems to unleash upon (or be unleashed on) your enemies, with much more focus on strategical kingdom fighting.
Expect to see this title rolling out worldwide in the first quarter of 2015! (January-March)

Toukiden: Kiwami – PS Vita
Q1 2015
Toukiden: Kiwami is technically the sequel to the highly loved Toukiden: The Age of Demon’s for the Playstation Vita, where you focus on powering up your character to tackle giant monsters that threaten the world. Though Kiwami includes the entire story of the original game, it adds a huge additional story arc that continues on. Along with adding more customisation for your character, new NPCs to interact with and a bevy of new quests to enjoy with. This is one great Monster Hunter esc game to enjoy on the go!
Expect to see this title rolling out worldwide in the first quarter of 2015! (January-March)

That is the current list of all the games officially coming out in 2015 so far to the western market. We have a lot to look forward to, but we have also some suggestions we hope that will also make it out in 2015 to the west! Bear in mind this is a select choice of games, not all that we hope / expect to see coming!
Select choice of games we hope to see in 2015

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea – PS3
We can almost guarantee that we will be seeing Atelier Shallie make it’s way to the west early in 2015, it’s just playing the waiting game now as to when Gust and KOEI-Tecmo will announce it! A lovely continuation to the Dusk series of the Atelier games! We really hope Gust continue to scratch our JRPG itch!

Ciel nosurge – PS Vita
Ciel nosurge, the life sim lead up to the story of Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star. NIS America have proven there is a solid market for these type of games on the Playstation Vita in the west, and we hope to see much more lore and story inclusion in the Surge Concerto series.

Dynasty Warriors Advance – WiiU (Virtual Console)
With the rise in the Wii U Virtual Console and how well GBA games work on the system, it would be a crime for KOEI-Tecmo not to release their highly underrated strategy hack ‘n’ slash title Dynasty Warriors Advance for it! Would be a perfect joining with the game and the Wii U’s gamepad!

Dynasty Warriors DS: Fighter’s Battle – WiiU (Virtual Console)
The same reasoning behind Dynasty Warriors Advance being made available for the Wii U’s virtual console. Dynasty Warriors DS: Fighter’s Battle, albeit not being too favourable to the Warriors fan’s out there, would be perfect for it’s short burst pick up and play style that the Wii U’s gamepad could provide! Along with Nintendo proving DS games run well on the Wii U, it would be great to see more support from KOEI-Tecmo on that front!

Fatal Frame V: Oracle of the Sodden Raven – WiiU
Last but not least, is Fatal Frame V. This is probably our most wanted game on the list of KOEI-Tecmo’s games that must have a release in the western market. The game is sheer brilliance and caters to a genre of games that no-one (not even the old kings of Capcom with Resident Evil) has been able to serve in a long long while. If KOEI-Tecmo and Nintendo don’t get this game out to the west, they must love to not have our money!
