Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile officially coming to the West!

We have a small update regarding the upcoming mobile port of Dynasty Warriors 9, which Nexon Korea and KOEI Tecmo Japan announced back in 2019. During Nexon Korea’s 2019 Fiscal Results report, it was shown that Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile is indeed coming to North America and Europe, along with other countries outside of Asia.

We also have an update from an even more recent fiscal results report from Q1 2020 being that the game is still in steady development and has not been halted at all due to the recent Covid-19 atrocities.

Hopefully some actual information on the title will be revealed soon. Until then you can enjoy the other Nexon produced title; Dynasty Warriors Unleashed.

Dynasty Warriors 9 get’s a Mobile iteration, and is being produced by Nexon Korea!

KOEI Tecmo has announced in collaboration with Nexon Korea that they have entered a global publishing deal and that Dynasty Warriors 9 will be getting an Action MMORPG version for your mobile devices. Developed by One Studio, Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile (title tentative) will be arriving sometime in the future.

Little information is known about the title, though One Studio’s director Kun Wook Song had this to say about the project:

“We are very happy to be able to deliver Dynasty Warriors 9, which is a representative Musou action game, as a mobile MMORPG, please look forward to enjoying the unique action of Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile.”

Much like other mobile titles of KOEI Tecmo games, the title has been licensed for use by Nexon Korea and One Studio. We hope to have more information to share in the near future, and hopefully any news of a worldwide release.
