It has been a long while since we have heard anything about Persona 5 Scramble – Omega Force and Atlus’ Action RPG mash-up – especially in regards to any kind of Western release. Now though KOEI Tecmo Japan in their most recent quarterly fiscal report have stated that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is still planned to launch in North America and Europe at some point in the future.
No more information is known, and we have yet to hear anything from any Western side of the publisher dealings, but it is certainly something to keep that flicker of hope alight.
Though do keep in mind, earlier in the year Atlus USA weren’t even sure if the Western audience wanted Persona 5 Scramble, launching a poll on their facebook asking if they should bother localising it for Nintendo Switch and / or Playstation 4.
We can only hope this get’s a launch sooner rather than later. If you are itching to get your hands on some of the game, you can check out our impressions of the game’s demo, or download it yourself off of the Japanese PSN Store / eShop.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers launched back on February 20th 2020 for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
