We have a bevy of new information for you today in regards to the upcoming release of Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 3! Along with the screenshots we uploaded just moments ago, new features have been confirmed along with a lot more!
~The entire Story revolves around What-If scenarios, such as what if Takeda Shingen succeeded at Joraku, or if Imagawa Yoshimoto succeeded at Okehazamanotatakai? The story unfolds with these events happening.
~Also depending on your relationship with officers and rulers, these What-If scenarios will change (for better or worse).
~The switching of characters feature from the original Chronicles game makes a return, with battles being crucial for you to switch between numerous officers on the battlefield.
~It is possible to stun enemy officers that are of a lower level than you a lot easier. Quite like the three officer types in Dynasty Warriors 8, lower grade officers can be defeated easier and stunned much more easily.
~”Renbukan Mode” makes a return (first features in Chronicle 2nd), which is quite like a “horde” mode where you face off against wave after wave of soldiers. The faster you defeat each wave the higher your score reaches.
~Godspeed Actions and Secret Musou attacks will be making their way from Samurai Warriors 4.
~A new “Warfare Skills” addition has been made, where you can consume a certain amount of your “Skills Gauge” to perform special actions around the battlefield.
We’ll be sure to report more information as it appears. This is certainly looking like one hell of a portable exclusive title, and we really do hope it see’s a Western release, only if because the first Chronicles game was very over-looked and an extremely fun game on the 3DS.
